Taskforce Better Reporting Landscape Report now published
The Implementation Taskforce for Growing a Culture of Social Impact Investing has now published the Better Reporting Landscape Report. This report forms part of the Implementation Taskforce’s response to the third key recommendation of the report of the Advisory Group on Growing a Culture of Social Impact Investing to “develop better reporting of non-financial outcomes”, which has been subsequently refined by the Taskforce as “better reporting of social and environmental impact”.
We had an overwhelmingly positive response to our call for evidence, receiving 92 responses from a wide variety of organisations. The report is based on genuine consultation and the findings have been heavily influenced by the responses to our call for evidence.
This report captures the fragmented impact reporting landscape identifying 16 different reporting approaches as well as several trends which have the potential to drive coalescence in impact reporting. Our conclusions however are not solutions. This work will be taken into a second phase where we will seek to develop concrete recommendations.
The Taskforce Better Reporting Landscape Report (including Appendix) and a full list of publicly available individual responses are available to download below.
